DISGRACEFUL! Craftsman visiting. Is he going too far?!

My sink is leaking in my new apartment, so I called a handyman. It just so happens that it’s the same guy who was in my other apartment. I showed him where it was leaking. He asked me to stay under the sink because he needed a little help. What he then did was going too far, right?! Do you also think that’s going too far, or would you have done it the same way?
